GENEVA - Pemilihan mobil terbaik dunia terus dilakukan dan kini pemilihan World Car of the Year 2016 sudah memasuki babak akhir. Ada 3 kandidat mobil terbaik dunia. Berikut daftarnya.
Perjalanan 'The Road to World Car' sudah sampai pada 3 kandidat teratas. Daftar kandidat ini diumumkan di Geneva International Motor Show 2016 sebelum sang pemenang diumumkan di New York International Auto Show (NYIAS) pada 24 Maret 2016.

Ada beberapa kategori yang diperlombakan yakni World Car of the Year, World Luxury Car, World Performance Car, World Green Car dan World Car Design of the Year.
Pemilihan World Car of the Year 2016 sendiri melibatkan 73 wartawan otomotif internasional yang memberikan suara berdasarkan pengalaman mereka masing-masing.
